I love Humphrey Bogart. The Maltese Falcon and The Treasure of the Sierra Madre are both fantastic films. But Casablanca is my favorite Bogart film. It's not your typical love story but it works. Girl leaves boy. Boy starts nightclub. Girl returns married. Boy and girl kiss. Girl wants to stay with boy. Boy sends her away. It's not that simple but you get the gist.
The movie has classic status and it should. The acting is top notch and the story is killer. It's got a bunch of great one liners. Plus, how hot is Ingrid Bergman in the movie? She was seriously stunning. If you've never seen Casablanca... what's wrong with you?
